Capt. Mark Byrnes
About This Captain.

Capt. Mark Byrnes is a Florida native fishing guide, born in Miami in 1953. He started fishing in the Florida Keys when he was a young child. Spending weekends fishing day and night on the rickety wooden catwalks attached to the old bridges he was usually successful in bringing home snapper and grouper for his family to eat. For his own enjoyment he discovered jumping tarpon and the thrill of seeing these monsters explode out the water..

In the 70's and 80's offshore fishing in small center consoles was his passion. However, he always liked to explore the flats and backcountry of Florida Bay and the Everglades every chance he got. Slowly but surely he became hooked on the inshore scene.

Capt. Mark has been a USCG licensed professional guide for approximately 20 years now and specializes in "live bait" tarpon fishing. He also tailors trips to his client's desires and targets snook, redfish, trout, snapper and sharks.

Angler House Marina's Captain Mark Bryne is very patient with beginners and kids of all ages and also has the skills and experience to sight fish with expert casters.
